What: Medical Charity Event

When: Tuesday, April 23rd at 8pm

Where: Dolanaar, Teldrassil

Why: Becuase there's food, entertainment, company, a talent competition, and more! Everyone is encouraged to bring Medical Donations (Actual in-game items or simply IC items are fine).

Join us in congratulating TE's Raid Group! Last night, they cleared Mogu'shan Vaults for the first time! While we're an RP guild first and foremost, it is great to see TE providing great opportunities for its members to raid and succeed! Congratulations RG2!

The deadline to sign up for the Annual TE trip has passed. We have 10 people signed up and I'm really excited for the trip this year. If you suddenly find out you can attend, please let me know as soon as possible. I will be calling to make the reservations and get the activities figured out as soon as possible. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this trip!

Hello everyone!

The deadline to sign up for our annual TE trip is quickly approaching. In order for us to effectively plan for accommodations and travel, we need to have people confirm that they'll be attending. If people do not confirm, then we won't know how much to expect paying for lodging and we won't be able to ensure that we have vehicle space for traveling into Yellowstone. 

So, if you are planning on attending our trip, please check out this thread and post your confirmation by Monday, February 18th. After that date, I will book the cabin and start finalizing plans. We have some great people coming so far and it looks like it's going to be a ton of fun this year. Please consider joining us! 

Hello everyone! 

As you're all well aware, the Twilight Empire is more than just a WoW guild. We're a coalition of gamers that enjoy spending time with one another, chatting in Mumble, and playing games with one another - whether those games are WoW, LoL, Minecraft, D&D, or other games. Our community is what makes this guild so amazing and we try to do whatever we can to strengthen that community. To that end, the Officers of TE are starting to plan on another one of our amazing TE Get-Togethers. These opportunities provide the chance to meet up with the people in your guild and get to know the people behind the avatars. Last year, we were able to meet up in Las Vegas! It was truly a wonderful time, full of laughs, jokes, and shenanigans. If you need a reminder about the fun we had, check out the thread in our forums! 

This year, we're looking at something a little different. Please check out this thread and read all about our awesome plan! It's going to be a great time and we encourage you to please think seriously about coming! These meetings are always a lot of fun and we'd love to meet up with even more people this year. Let's keep the TE tradition going. Our goal is to make the trip awesome, affordable, and memorable. There's going to be plenty to do and I promise that this year I'll make brownies for whoever decides to join us!

As 2012 shifts into 2013, I sit back and think about this past year with the amazing people in my guild. We've had a lot of fun and experienced a lot of growth in 2012. We saw old friends depart from the game and new friends join us and add laughs to our evenings. We had our ups and our downs, but we always came through in the end. We've pushed hard to initiate RP on the server, we've hosted events, we've raided, and we've battled Horde. And through it all, we always had fun because we were with the amazing people of TE. Thank you all for such a wonderful year and I'm looking forward to another full year of TE in 2013!

With the introduction of a new PvP zone in 5.1, the Twilight Empire has examined its PvP policy and had made some key changes to this zone. Please read up on these changes so that you know what to expect, both ICly and OOCly, from TE members in Krasarang Wilds. You can find relevant posts on the Realm Forums, on the TE Public Forums, and on the Ravenholdt Sanctum. The information has also been incorporated into our About Twilight page. 

Should you have any questions about these policies, you are invited to speak with the officers. 

Also, please feel free to contribute your character's reaction in the appropriate threads - we always enjoy more RP and perspectives!

Thanks to Tinox, the Twilight Empire now has its own IRC channel, complete with moderators! We would invite everyone to join us in IRC whenever you have some free time and feel like chatting. This channel is open to TE-members and non-TE members alike. Our hope is that the channel will provide an extra way to keep in touch, to chat throughout the day, and to contact TE officers. It will also be a great way to get to know some of the wonderful people in TE!

To join our IRC channel:

1. Go to mibbit.com/chat
2. Select "MMOIRC [webirc]" from the dropdown menu 
3. Enter in your nickname (likely your in-game name)
4. Type in "#TwilightEmpire" for the channel name
5. Have fun!

Twilight Empire has always been supportive of not just the RP community, but of the Ravenholdt Community in general. We strive to reflect the strong communal ties we have with one another to the community in general. Whether we're engaging in RP events, PvP battles, or PvE endeavors, members of the Twilight Empire are always encouraged to represent the guild in a positive way. 

To that end, I would encourage not only members of TE, but also visitors to this site, to participate in the community, to take initiative, and to help make Ravenholdt the most amazing RP-PvP server out there! By working together and harnessing all of the amazing talents of the people on Ravenholdt, I'm sure that we can make this a thriving, vibrant, and strong server community.

After several weeks of closed applications, the Senate has decided once more to open applications to the Twilight Empire. If you are interested in joining our community, we would invite you to browse through our website, learn about us, talk to us in-game, and submit an application! We would encourage everyone to read our "About Twilight" section and contact us via the forums and the game if you have any questions. Thank you. 

Given the emphasis that the Twilight Empire places on a close-knit and supportive community, we find it important to occasionally close our applications so that we might focus inwardly on getting to know all of the new members who have joined our group. We are excited at our rapid and steady growth and we're looking forward to spending time with one another as MoP approaches. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and we will post an announcement when we open applications up again.

Congratulations on five years, Twiilght Empire! 

The hard work that everyone put into the Anniversary Party definitely paid off! Twilight Empire was pleased to have numerous friends in attendance, from both the Horde and the Alliance. The party was a time of celebration for the hard work of not only Twilight Empire, but of the RP community as a whole. We had an exciting raffle, a magnificent display of fireworks, and an amazing storytelling contest. And now we're on our way towards year number 6! 

As we embark on this next phase of TE, we encourage all of our members to stay updated on the website. There are a lot of storylines that are in full swing and more than a few that are just starting up. Remember, you get out what you put in! So take the initiative and get your characters involved. We're so excited to see all of the creativity!

Another summer is coming to a close and another anniversary party is on the horizon. Twilight Empire has been an amazing part of the Ravenholdt community for almost five years now! It's been an exciting five years and we're looking forward to many more years contributing to the RP community of the server. As we near our Fifth Anniversary, our members should be on the lookout for some exciting RP storylines that we have planned. If you have any ideas or materials to contribute to our celebration, please speak with an officer in-game.

Hello everyone!

Just a quick little news post to say that I'm very excited for summer to be here! I would encourage everyone to be checking the forums (both here and on the Sanctum) to make sure that you keep up to date on what's going on. There are some exciting whispers floating around about some changes, some storylines, and some people who might be back for the summer (Blarg honk!). Right now, I just want to encourage TE members to take ownership of the guild, of their RP, and of the server. Remember that our RP is what -you- make it. I look forward to seeing what it becomes. Remember that if you have ideas or need any help, the officers are here to help you. For my part, I know that Aerana will be coming out of her semi-comotose daze within the next couple of weeks. It's definitely going to be an exciting time. 

Oh, and you'll want to be checking the forums for sure for pictures of our upcoming trip to Vegas. I hear that our favorite grumpy gnome might be wearing a purple hat! If you're interested in seeing it in real life, be sure to check out the thread. It's not too late to meet up with all of us!

As many of you are aware, a good number of current TE members are planning on trying out Star Wars: The Old Republic. Because we've built up such an amazing community here in WoW, I think it would be wonderful to take that community into future games we play. So, if you're planning on playing TOR and you'd like to be a part of the TE community over there, I would encourage you to check out the thread on our forums where we're discussing our ideas for a guild in TOR. We would love to have your ideas and your input. Right now, we have a blank slate and a great opportunity to create another amazing guild!

Remember, just like TE, this is -your- guild! And this is your chance to help create its foundation. I can't wait to see what we come up with!

The Twilight Empire is electing a new Senator! How exciting!

The cycle of growth continues and, after this recent influx of new members, the Officers of the Twilight Empire have agreed that it is time to once again close applications. This upcoming week (7/25 - 7/31) will be the last week that the Twilight Empire will be accepting applications. After that, applications will once more be closed for an unspecified amount of time while we work on getting to know one another and growing together as a community.

We thank you for your understanding and we look forward to accepting this final round of applicants!

After being lured to Caer Darrow with the promise of peace-talks, the delegation sent by the Twilight Empire was ambushed by the Sunstorm Confederation. The members of the delegation escaped narrowly with their lives and many were injured. Upon their return to Ironforge, missives were sent to the Empire's allies informing them of the Confederation's treachery. The Senate and the Military are mobilizing the Empire for war. 

(( Please check out the relevant threads for more information, including the Eastern Storm thread on the Ravenholdt Sanctum. We're looking forward to some amazing roleplay with the <Sunstorm Confederation> in the upcoming weeks. While we're certainly at war ICly, the <Twilight Empire> and the <Sunstorm Confederation> are being proactive about maintaining positive OOC relationships with one another! We're really looking forward to the roleplay opportunities that this conflict will provide! ))

Congratulations to the Twilight Empire on finally reaching Guild Level 25! Thank you all for your hard work and contributions to Guild Exp. This is certainly an accomplishment to be proud of and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you with your Reigns of the Golden King (yes, that means it's time to work on getting that reputation to Exalted!). In all seriousness though, congratulations to the great and amazing people in Twilight Empire <3
